Marcia Cebulska will share highlights and photos from her memoir about coming of age in a Polish community in Chicago. Followed by a conversation with her publisher, audience Q&A, and book signing.
Marcia Cebulska's forthcoming memoir Lovers, Dreamers, & Thieves is her story of growing up and coming of age in a Polish community in Chicago. Her lineage includes a female blacksmith, ties to the Mafia and a locally famous bakery. It's a fascinating story of family, growth, and success, both personal and universal.
At this book launch, Cebulska will share highlights and photos from her memoir and engage in conversation with publisher Thea Rademacher of Flint Hills Publishing, followed by an audience Q&A and book signing.
“This memoir is at once funny and poignant, wide-ranging and laser-focused, personal and universal. Cebulska weaves memories, family stories, and local history with deftness and reverence, creating a memoir that is both fun to read and profound.” –Charles Anthony Silvestri, poet, lyricist, author of A Silver Thread
