Miguel, an aspiring musician, is dealing with his family's long-standing ban on music. He enters the Land of the Dead to find his great-great-grandfather who was a legendary singer.

To prove his talent, Miguel enters the colorful Land of the Dead, where he meets the charming trickster Hector. Together they take an extraordinary journey to find his great-great grandfather, a legendary singer. Along the way they also unlock the mystery of Miguel's family history.
In 2018 Coco won Academy Awards for both Best Animated Feature and Best Original Song. It also won a Golden Globe Award for Best Animated Feature Film and a nomination for Best Original Song.
