Anyone in a parenting role is on a journey to raise happy and healthy kids. You will learn from experts and chat with other parents. Register to receive the link to our virtual Zoom gathering.
Grab a cup of coffee and let's chat about our kids (birth - 5 years). The Parent Club is a place where you belong and will find support and feel empowered on your parenthood journey. This club will build a network with other parents of young children. We'll talk, share stories and exchange ideas with other parents, and learn from a variety of experts each week. In 30 minutes you will gain insight into common early childhood issues like reaching milestones, discipline, toilet training, etc.
Sherry Hess is the library's Early Childhood Learning Coordinator who is focused on engaging young children and their families in play-based early learning experiences. She has two decades of early childhood experience - as a teacher, a case manager, and an early education supervisor. Sherry has connections with community resources in Topeka and Shawnee County and has a professional network of colleagues. She will facilitate our discussion with a community early childhood professional who will share insights, experiences and resources.
