Vincent Price is the King of Horror to many film fanatics. Learn more about the icon from his daughter, Victoria Price. She will discuss his life, career and his inspirational philosophy for living.
Vincent Price may have been known as the King of Horror, but over the course of his 65-year career, his love of life and deep engagement with the world through film, theatre, art, cooking and writing left a legacy of joy that remains inspirational almost 30 years after his passing. His daughter, author and inspirational speaker Victoria Price, will share both intimate glimpses of her father’s life, insights into his career, as well as his inspirational philosophy for living. Victoria and Vincent Price were both in the movie Edward Scissorhands (1990), which was Vincent Price's last film role.
Keith "The Critic" VanSickle, local film critic and creator of the Slash and Bash Horror/Sci-Fi Film Festival, will host the library event. Vincent Price films will be featured every day at the 2021 Slash and Bash Horror/Sci-Fi Film Festival Aug. 5 - 7 at the Topeka Performing Arts Center.
