Local Author Fair

Authors who will be in attendance at this event include:
- Dr. Aly – Author of several children’s stories including Black Heirs, I Am Beautiful, Fast Cars and more.
- F. C. Appelhanz – Author of several poetry collections including Mind Dancing, Valley View Farms, Embrace the Adventure and more.
- Annette Hope Billings – Author of the affirmation book Descants for a Daughter and poetry books Just Shy of Stars and A Net Full of Hope.
- Art Brennan – Author of Blood on the Line, a book designed to help veterans, first responders and their families.
- Anamarie Davis-Wilkins - Author of the novels Didn’t Know to Say No and Under and Over, the poetry collection titled To See My Own World and more.
- EJ Drake – Author of several comics including Composition Book Chronicles Anthology Series, A Harvest of the Macabre, Lil Pat (coauthored by Olive Drake) and more.
- Dawn Feltrop – Author of the children’s picture book Rosemary Chick: Pip, Zip, Hooray! A Rosemary and Sassafras Story.
- D. D. Franklin – Author of the paranormal romance novels Silver Lake: Awakening and Silver Lake: Birthright.
- Kimberly Garber – Author of the biographical historical fiction novel Scratched Vinyl: Louie’s Story.
- Debbie Gassert – Author of the true crime book Mighty Neighborly: A True Story of the Fredrick Iwert Murder.
- Rita Grace – Author of the children’s story The Magical Train Ride.
- William Isley - Author of fiction novels The Likeness of Sinful Flesh: A Story of Redemption and Chasing the Wind: A Philosophical Novel.
- Raylynne Lee – Author of The Empty Graveyard, a novel for middle grade readers.
- C. B. Livingston – Author of the memoir Infusion Diaries and the young adult novel A Diamond in the Rough.
- Ruth Maus - Author of the novel Lunacy and Acts of God and two collections of poetry titled Puzzled and Valentine.
- Timothy McHenry – Author of the young adult novel You’re With Me and the memoir A Leg to Stand On.
- Samantha Morrison - Author of the poetry collection titled Barefoot.
- Julie Nischan – Author of the autobiography Misspent: My Life in Retail, The Substitute Cook cookbook, the poetry collection titled Human/Nature and more.
- Leslie "Pepper" Richards - Author of the children's book Let's Be Amigos.
- Kaleb Stoppel – Author of the memoir One Step at a Time: Surviving a School Shooting, Rebuilding My Life, and Rediscovering What Matters Most.
- Melanie Bonner Thomas – Author of the scientific biography Old Man of the Fossil Beds: A Kansas Dreamer, His Family o Hunters, and Their Search for Prehistoric Sea Creatures and the science book Fossils of the Rock Chalk: Bones and Beasts of Cretaceous Kansas.
- Stacy Thowe – Author of The Guardians, a romantasy series, and romance novels God Bless My Broken Road and Soap Opera Digest: The Story of a Woman. A Dream. And an Endless Love.
- Ernie W. Webb III – Author of the true crime book Goodbye, Butterfly: Murder, Faith, and Forgiveness in a Small Town.
- Victor Williams – Author of Elsie, “The Scarecrow” a true story about William’s childhood.

Our mission is sparking curiosity and connecting our community through literacy and learning. The library features the Alice C. Sabatini Gallery, the Millennium Café, Chandler Booktique (bookstore and gift shop), free meeting rooms, computer training and free Wi-Fi access.
