Learn about adoptive genealogy with author KelLee Parr & librarian Sherri Camp. You'll also learn how the library can help you discover your family story. Register to attend in-person or by Zoom.
Parr explored his family story through adoptive genealogy, tracing his mother's story back to a famous home for unwed mothers in Kansas City. His work has led to three nonfiction books so far, and many presentations on his research methods and findings. Parr's story will appeal to fiction readers of books such as Orphan Train and Before We Were Yours, and nonfiction books such as The Girls Who Went Away.
